I'm not sure how it works where you live but here to be paid for a holiday, it needs to be a regular day of work. I have a friend that works Tuesday-Thursday and the only thing she says is that it is hard to be out of the office Mondays because that's when a lot of replies/follow-up ocurrs and she feels like Tuesdays are a little overwhelming as a result. I think it also took some time for her co-workers to get used to her schedule/learn that if they wait to send her something Thursday afternoon, they won't get a response until Tuesday. Sundays are better because it isn't the day before the work week starts. Kids have 3 consecutive days in a row with childcare and 4 consecutive days of parental care.
