We had the Ubbi because I wanted to be able tuse regular trash bags which is a huge plus, but the rubber seal on the lid fell of and never went back on right. Granted this was after maybe 8 months of use, but still - it's expensive and I wanted to only buy one. So I had to ditch it as the stank escaped and I got a genie and it's great. We lived in a condo building and the trash chute was just down the hall so we tossed out our garbage pretty frequently. Now we're in a new house and the garbage can is in our garage which gets picked up once a week. Holy cow does it smell. I'm thinking of getting a diaper pail so the garbage can in our garage doesn't stink up so quickly. Which do you recommend? </p>
