I probably need to work on that for the sake of a more harmonious marriage. It's about expectations--I don't expect my kids to clean up after themselves all the time (at 1 and 3), or not make messes, or to do chores around the house, or to support me emotionally. But my husband is an adult, so yeah, I expect all of that and more. So it's pretty equal. That said, we rarely are rushing off anywhere so I'm sure that would be different if say I had to be out of the house every day at the same time.
