@regberadaisy: I don't know... I think they claim to biodegrade faster too, but i read that all depends on landfill conditions anyway. It's a really complicated issue. I also read that they dye their diapers brown to appear more natural. That's fine, but for us it really made it hard to see if there was pee or not, so with that and the added cost, we just switched after a few months.

@NYCaliMama: is that the only/main "eco friendly" aspect of the 7th gen diapers?

I used 7th Gen with my first DD for a few months. No leaks, but it was really hard for us to tell when she peed in them, even if we would open it up and look. DH didn't like that at all about them. It's a little annoying though how they market themselves as chlorine-free when most disposable diapers these days are chlorine-free anyway, but they still cost more.

We used Earth's Best once and found them to be really stiff... Like @Yin they just didn't feel right. Perhaps we got them a size too small too, but I wasn't wow'ed by them so wasn't willing to buy again.

We love Baby Naturecare by Naty (can get them on Amazon)... Great protection and fit for our baby. Not a huge price difference compared to other brands either.

I was thinking of trying Tushies next because they are supposedly the only disposable out there without any gel in them. I don't think I would ever order from The Honest Company just because of the cost... $80/month... really?

@regberadaisy: I thought they were cheaper haha!! I guess not. Well I already ordered my first bundle. I might go back and forth maybe. I do love the prints on the honest diapers!

Thanks! Interesting on the 7th generation. Will have to compare pricing then.

@Coco Bee: any reason why you're switching to The Honest Company then?

@regberadaisy: I LOVE seventh gen!!! It's been amazing. It's only ever leaked ONCE.

We also used Earth's best, that was his diaper for the first few weeks and loved those as well. They worked great.

I have also tried and loved The Honest Company. I am getting another bundle soon!

We use 7th gen in addition to cloth. We tried Earth's Best and I didn't like the feel and fit on my LO.

We currently use Huggies and love it because it works great and I can get it relatively cheap! ~20cts/diaper

But I wouldn't be opposed to trying a more Eco friendly option. I thought 7th gen was it and did not read any favorable reviews.

Which Eco friendly diaper do you use and how do you like it?
