I also ended up disliking purees. I always forgot to thaw them out. We're getting more into finger foods and I like it so much better. I do worry that he isn't getting enough though. We're still doing smooth purees. DS won't eat chunky purees at all. He cried yesterday when I tried to feed him something new. When I was exclusively breastfeeding I kinda of liked it because I didnt have any bottles to wash and didnt have to worry about how much she was eating but my nipples were so sore, and I was always feeling icky with milk leaking and having to wear nursing pads. It's stressful and painful to adjust to.<br /> I liked puree's and trying new combination of fruits and veggies.<br /> I didn't like finger foods especially when DS would choke.<br /> In between finger foods and actually eating real foods was difficult because he wouldn't eat much, just nibbles.<br /> Now that he's 3, meal time is awesome. He eats salad, his favorite pizza is veggie delite, he loves yogurt and fruits! Even though I'd make them in big batches so I always had them ready, I'd forget to defrost them. And I didn't like that I had to do all of the work in feeding her. </p> <p>Now she's onto finger foods and so far I'm loving it. It keeps her entertained to eat when we do, and it's easy because I can just feed her some of what I'm having. </p>
