We live in Florida (aka pool weather year round), but DS (19 months) is still a little unsure about getting the pool. He wants us to hold him. We have a pool/beach vacation in June when he will be 22 months. He is below the weight limit for a puddle jumper (and will likely still be then too - he's about 24lb), so I guess the only alternative is a life jacket? I just bought a second one for our youngest that is 19 months. She is still 4 pounds below the weight limit, but we did the same with our oldest and it was great. She liked it but she's on the small size so she still wanted us nearby to hold her.</p> <p>We just took one to Florida, K is now 3.5 and a little bigger, and its perfect. He's technically below the weight for it but it works great for him (as long as he's well supervised, since he can slip in and out). Wondering if I should add onto her arsenal and get puddle jumper or inflatable arm floaties.. </p>
