Meat. The only meat she will eat is chicken mcnuggets, which are suspect to be classified meat in the first place. She will also accept good quality chicken that's breaded and fried, but no meat in any other form. What kid doesn't like hotdogs?!?!

Meat for both kids. I think it's a textural thing. My sister and I both have strong aversions to foods of certain textures, and I think my daughter is the same way.

Veggies. She isn't great with meat either but will eat cheese, beans, hummus, and tofu, so I don't worry as much about protein.

Always veggies. If we get her to eat them once a week, it is a success. Same thing at day care. Teachers say all the other kids eat them but she won't.

Meat. She can be picky about veggies but generally is pretty good. Dairy she will eat all day every day, same with fruit. But meat she only likes processed- meatballs, chicken sausage, chicken nuggets... Sometimes homemade chicken cutlets if they are fresh but I don't have time to make that every night and she usually won't eat those leftovers. So I try to spread out the processed meats.

My kid has apparently chosen to be vegetarian - no meat except maybe meatballs once in awhile

she lives on dairy, carbs and fruit. I can get her to eat some veggies - she loves edamame in the pods

Proteins are hard right now with DD1 (almost 4). For DD2 (17m) vegetables are hard right now. They are *constantly* eating, but what they will eat is so fickle lately!

Last night we had teriyaki pork tenderloin, roasted broccoli/cauliflower and jasmine rice. Both girls gobbled it all up! Except I made DD2 peas because she won't touch the broccoli / cauliflower, even though she used to love it!
