My inlaws are a bit younger than my parents, but any one of them could keep up with my son.

DH's and my parents are all in their 50s and keep up just fine. My grandmother is in her early 70s and she does great, too.

Um... in terms of energy really probably a tie between either of my parents and my MIL. All are in very good shape in their mid/late 50s. My parents have a slightly harder time than my MIL getting up/down off the floor with her a lot though because they both have bad knees. They can and do get down on the floor, but not quite as easily as my MIL.

Haha, mine for sure. Then again, they spend more time with her so maybe it's because they're used to her, too?

Both of my parents can handle my energetic toddler for a full day. Actually they just had her for a full week at their house when I delivered #2. They didn't want to give her back!

We are so lucky, they can all last a full day with our 14 month old. I'm afraid they'll get tired eventually. My in laws are older, 67 and 70 but he is their only grandchild and they can't get enough. They joke about him spending the week at their house!

My parents are 70 and not in the greatest health but they watch LO 1x weekly each and do just fine. I mean, they can't run around or after her, but they take her out places all the time. My MIL is in much better shape, but whenever she watches DD she talks about how exhausted she is, and half the time falls asleep (if FIL is also there).

the longest with your LO(s)?

DS is 26 months. My mom out of all the grandparents can last the longest amount of time (she's our primary caretaker!).

ILs and my dad can handle a few hours, but they're wiped out and need a nap after keeping up with a toddler! :P
