I loved the 6-12 month stage. Newborn time was very difficult with colic and sleep deprivation. He became a lot more fun as an infant learning to crawl and navigate. Toddler hood started out okay, but it gets tough with the independence and tantrums. Learning how to manage those have been key to making life easier. Some days it feels like we're dueling salesmen. Toddler LO wants to do this, but I want to do something else. The rest of infancy was pretty easy. Toddler is easy when they become more independent but more difficult when they tantrum.
