Aw ladies this was not a post meant for "self loathing" or feeling bad, was more meant as a collective group laughing about what we have gone through for our darling babies. Thanks for all your honesty, I'm sure we all know its all worth it. (Although it would have been fabulous to get a lovely baby and keep our old bodies the same!)

I'm currently suffering from pregnancy mask (darker patches of skin on my face) not super obvious but without makeup I look like something out of a horror film. Haha. Can't wait for it to go away.

We already have too many outside voices in this world telling us how imperfect our bodies are, whether we've had babies or not. Enough with the self loathing! I LOVE my body for the 2 girls it grew, birthed, and nourished/ nourishes currently. Nothing about me is ruined, instead I am made whole. Period.

Nothing is ruined! I've worked really hard to get to a point where I feel happy in my body again. It hasn't been easy but nothing was ruined beyond what I could do to fix it!

I guess my anxiety has gotten a lot worse but, again, it's something I can handle.

@jedeve: I like this! My heart is just really really tender now, prone to extremes of love and happiness, but also pain and anxiety.

My physical body, though, is actually better now, I'm proud of what it did in growing and birthing a baby, and some pesky things that used to bother me (acne, some extra weight, too big boobs, etc) are gone now.

Ok ok, but I do have a hemorrhoid and it's kind of a bitch! :silly:

Ugh, boobs. And they are ruined. No rainbows and kittens there. But it hasn't made me feel bad about myself. I'm just amazed at how sad they are now. Nothing a boob job can't fix, I guess. :)

i feel like my stomach will never be the same, but i have to wait and see what happens until i lose 30 pounds and get back into doing sit-ups, then see what it looks like then.

but oliviaoblivia made a good point - i wouldn't say anything is "ruined". just different

even more than my stomach, i think my heart and mind have been most altered as my priorities did a 180 since having a baby.

Stomach. I have some pelvic floor dysfunction - but at least that can be fixed... my stomach can't. It is covered from belly button all the way down with stretch marks. No way will I ever wear a two piece ever again and it makes me sad. And that's not including the ones on my sides, butt and thighs..

My tuchus, for sure. Hemorrhoids are a bitch. I got lucky on the rest of it. More stretch marks on my tummy, but I already had some from college weight gain. And they're not terrible. I'll still wear a bikini.

Although, *actually* most ruined is my tattoo. Seriously sad about that. It's on my hip bone, and remained untouched from my belly. It was the pushing that destroyed it. I don't even know how to go about fixing it :bummed:

I wouldn't say ruined. My belly is not awesome, but my feed have been the most affected. Besides growing over a full size, I have had recurrent ingrown toenails, which I never had before. I had one removed, and it grew back, so I had it permanently removed.
