I got a pump from a friend so I could keep one at home and one at work. I didn't replace or sterilize a single thing. Well, I was using my own flanges/connectors/valves/membranes. But yeah, just plugged right into the same tubes and everything has been fine for 4.5 months and counting. She hadn't used it in a while so I had no concerns there was anything still living in there. And I trust this person enough that I think she would have told me if she had HIV or something.

@simplyfelicity: Thanks!

@catomd00: I did get one through insurance. This is an unexpected hand-me-down, and since I will pump both at work and at home, I saw an opportunity to cut down on what I have to carry back and forth every day.

Everything except the pump itself. You can buy the tubing and part fairly cheaply on amazon.

Considering how cheap all the accessories are, I would just replace it all! Flanges, tubing and membrane.

The tubing and the membranes. The rest I'd just sterilize. Nice score!

A family friend passed along some baby things she is finished with, including a Pump In Style Advanced with all her accessories. This is the same pump I've been using, so at the very least, I just scored some extra bottles and breast shields. I'm thinking it would be great to be able to just leave one motor unit at work (yes, I know that it is an open system, but that doesn't concern me), and maybe a whole set-up. Which parts would you sterilize and use, and which parts would you just replace? I'm thinking about replacing the tubing, and the little white patches on the yellow things, and boiling the rest.
