Dang, that Freemie looks pretty cool!! I wonder how loud it is...

I voted Medela - if only to have coordinating pumps.

I used the Ameda with #1, but am going to try to get a Medela to have with #2. I'll be able to have one at home and one at work (and not going with my own advice of compatible systems... haha)

I have my own Medela PISA and a rented Symphony through my insurance (which just died on me, so I have to take it back to the supply company to get swapped out...grrr...but that's another story). I keep the Symphony at work because that's where I do 90% of my pumping, and it's a lot less portable than the PISA. I do like the Symphony better, if only because I often take the flange off one side while the other is still finishing up and it handles that much better than the PISA does. But otherwise, they both do a good job and the suction isn't different enough for me to notice.

I would recommend that you make sure the pump you get is compatible with the accessories you already have (flanges and such). I just think it would be annoying to have separate sets of parts. The Medela ones are all compatible except for the tubing, which is pump-specific. I *think* you can also use Medela accessories on the Hygeia pumps but I'm not totally sure.

Not gonna lie, I would be very tempted by the Freemie, though! I would just want to be sure the pump itself works well, and I haven't heard many reviews of it yet.

Oh, I'm TOTALLY interested in the Fremie, but I've never used it. I love that you can pump while driving or on a plane without it being so conspicuous!

My friend gave me her Medela Symphony hospital grade pump which I have been using at home for the past 9 weeks.

I am going to get a pump through my insurance so that I can keep one at work and one at home. Unfortunately, my insurance company doesn't cover the rental of a hospital grade pump.

If anyone has had experience with the following list of pumps, please share. Thanks!

Also, am I likely to hate any of these pumps if I am used to using a hospital grade pump? I need to decide which one to keep at home and which to leave at the office.
