@scg00387: ooh, missed it! But thanks!

I think we're leaning towards the wagon or trike. I'm a little more trike and J is a little more wagon so I'm going to let him make the call after looking at the products. :P

I voted for the bike but I was split between that and the Cozy Coupe. I am not a fan of wagons, I can't stand pulling them for long, I would much rather push a bike or a stroller.

Cozy Coupe! We got it for DD when she was a little over one and she played with it. Now that she is three and DS is one we are using it again! You can put a thing in the floor so that a little baby can ride in it, but then when they get older they can push it around. We love ours!

@regberadaisy: My LO can't get out of the wagon no matter how hard she tries. But she's usually happy and content in there because we're walking so she has lots to see. We'll also give her a doll or something to take with her, and there's a place for her sippy, so she always has things to do if she's bored of the scenery.

I think the tricycle will have more long lasting usage. Maybe because we got the wagon after we had our second but I feel like the wagon is more fun with 2 kids. We love it though. The seat belt is pretty secure, but of course, she no longer wants to put it on.

@BananaPancakes: ooh, good points. I totally see M launching herself off the wagon, despite a belt, to get a flower or something. I also like that the trike can grow with her and being just one now I don't need a 2 seater. Hm.

I think it depends on what kind of temperament your child has. I really want a wagon, but there's no way my son is going to just sit in a wagon at this point. He cannot sit still for anything with nothing there for him to do. He got that Schwinn bike for his birthday, though, and thinks he's pretty bad steering his bike around. He wants to participate with the bigger kids, and the bike let's him do that.

I also think it depends on what all you'd like to be able to use the ride-on for. The wagon's the only one that's going to give you lots of storage if you're going to use it around town.

We have the wagon and LO loves it. It's nice for us when going on walks, plus it's nice that it fits more then one so we can take a friend.

My nephew got the truck version of the cozy coupe for Christmas right before he turned 2 and he LOVES it. My friend's 15 month old came over and was also obsessed and thrilled with it, even though he's a little peanut and his feet barely reached the ground and his dad had to help him push it. If your LO is into cars then I'd definitely go with that.

I'd probably get the last one. M has a joovy tricycoo and she loves it, but we have to push her around. We bought her this and she LOVES it. It's nice because it can grow with your M and she can ride it on her own without assistance.

My mom is going to give us cash for M's birthday gift. I want there to be something physical to open at the party from her. So I'm going to take a portion of the money and buy a ride on toy for M. Which would you buy?

1. http://www.amazon.com/Schwinn-Easy-Steer-Tricycle-White/dp/B003BWITGG
2. http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Flyer-Pathfinder-Wagon®-Red/dp/B0000859QK/ (not sure which version we would get)
3. http://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-Cozy-Coupe-Anniversary/dp/B001NQHN7S/

These are all classics that I have always wanted to get my kids! ;)
