Three! By that point, they've figured out what is going on and fight it. Both times we sleep trained my daughter (at 6 and 9.5 months), she fought and fought on night 3, but slept all the way through the night on night 4. Hang in there, you're almost done!

We have only sleep trained for initially falling asleep at night, not for night wakings yet, but the first night was definitely the worst. After that it's like she finally got it and understood how to fall asleep. But we haven't tackled motn wake ups yet.

We just lived trough night two of Ferber with our one year old, and it was rough. He's been able to fall asleep on his own at the beginning of the night for a while, but it's the night wakings he's had trouble with. We did see an improvement over the first night, but it seems he just couldn't figure out how to soothe. Poor dude was fussing and crying off and on for a LONG time at 11. I'm just wondering if we've seen te worst, or if the next few nights will be more of the same. I think I remember hearing night 4 was usually the hardest, but I'm curious what other people experienced.
