So far the 1st trimester has been the easiest. I was one of the very lucky few that experienced no morning sickness and very little fatigue. The only issue I had was a growing waistline. Now I'm in my 23w and am getting more lower back pain and fatigue. Although, I can't complain too much as it hasn't been awful either.

I think each trimester had its issues. I want to say the 2nd trimester was the easiest but I had really bad round ligament pain constantly

I guess the easiet part for me was like weeks 25-35? I think the end of the second trimester/beginning of the third trimester were the best parts.

By far my second. No more all day sickness, I wasn't al fatigued, and I wasn't uncomfortably large yet.

Yep, I'm only in my 2nd but at 21 weeks I feel like a slightly large human - I can eat normal, sleep mostly normal (wake up once to go to the bathroom), and just feel awesome. First trimester? Barely functional zombie - I never threw up but only could eat mac & cheese, peanut butter crackers, yogurt, and mint gum. I slept 12 hours and took two naps, and was a miserable mess!

Hoping the 3rd isn't too rough - though I'll take pain and discomfort over nausea any day!

Don't know what the third will be like just yet, but at 22 weeks, second trimester has been GLORIOUS compared to first trimester bloat and nausea!

The second was no picnic, but it was far easier than the first when I threw up on a daily basis, and more comfortable than the third when I waddled not unlike a whale.

Thanks for the insight! :) I'm hoping to plan LO around tax season (with the bulk of tax season falling in the second trimester), we've been charting and both agree that that'd be the best time (DH loves the idea of baby having a June birthday lol!) but if it doesn't happen that way, it's no big deal.

2nd, all the way. 1st I was bloated, miserable and exhausted the whole time. My 3rd, I was swollen, had horrible pelvic pain and was the size of a whale so... yeah, definitely 2nd.

The second was much easier than the first and the third (so far, 4 wks to go) but I was still really sick and exhausted during the second. The only big improvement over the first was that I was only throwing up 3-4 times a wk instead of every day and was able to eat a bigger variety of foods (even if I could only manage a little at a time and never really wanted any of it).

I'm only in the second right now (at 23 weeks) but so far this has been MUCH better than the first. I was not sick during the first but I just felt a general sense of malaise and exhaustion that didn't let up until about 12 or so weeks. And the unending nausea... Ughhhhhhh.

I am also getting nervous about what surprises the third will hold.

2nd for sure, but 3rd wasn't bad

It boggles my mind that when the baby is sooooooooooo small, it causes the most 'problems'.

Just curious as to which trimester was the easiest of the 3. I hear so much about the morning sickness, fatigue, and general sense of not feeling so great during the first trimester, and then so much of the being unable to sleep, feeling uncomfortable, having heartburn, etc., during the third trimester but it seems like the second trimester tends to be smooth sailing for the most part? What has been your experience?
