Our router is pretty far from our family room though (where I use if most of the time) so I'm not sure if it's because the signal is weakish already. HAHA. I downloaded the "CamViewer" app on my phone and once I verified it's working, added sound capability for 2.99 from the app store. It totally works!! Once you're on the page, you SHOULD be able to access a menu on the left hand side that has arrows you can click to pan. </p> <p>When I bought mine a few months ago there was one that zoomed. I entered that IP into my iphone's browser, and it took me to the log in page for the camera - when I logged in, I could see! I did a google search for "VLC plug in" to see if the company had any support and found a support page - that actually said the guy who created the plug-ins quit..LOL..I don't know how true that is, but the support person answering the forum said that there was currently no plug-in available or something similar.
