Which I couldn't, because I couldn't quit work and as long as I was employed, there were always fires to put out. I think DD will give me a break there, because she loves day care and is more verbal, so we can already talk about how she feels, and why I work, and what we both do when we're apart. Plus the work situation is less crazy. He was a little delayed in his language, so 2s were rough because he couldn't quite get out what he wanted to say and acted out instead. Once he hit 3, he was infinitely better, and was potty trained at 3 years, 3 moths. We tried when he was 2.5 to try to get it done before his brother came, and ultimately, it was terrible. So we waited until 3 months after little brother arrived and he got it right away. </p> <p>Overall, he was just easier to deal with because he could communicate soooo much better.</p> <p>DS2 just turned 2 and though he's far more verbal, he's got a major 'tude. He is far more mischievous and it's turning into a frustrating year already. He got kicked out of one school for behavioral issues and we had to start sending him to a special ed preschool just so he could be in school. Our home life also got much worse at 3 since he stopped sleeping past 4am which makes us constantly exhausted and unable to go on any vacations as a family unless we rent out an entire house (since most people don't really care for SCREAMING at 4am). She's 4 and change now and honestly just a joy to be around most days.</p> <p>My second was more challenging from 11 months to 2 years, but has really gotten better lately as her vocabulary develops.
