Ohh toughie. We loved our woombie but had to quit cold-turkey when she started rolling at night. We went straight to footed pj's but have since introduced a sleep sack and that seems to help her sleep better. She was a happily swaddled baby and the sleep sack helps her cuddle and is a good sleep-cue for her.
Living in Florida, we were sure to buy the cotton sack (not the velboa (I think that is the material?) so she could stay cooler. As it warms up more I think we will do a onesie with the sleep sack instead of PJs.

i think either way is good, although i'm slightly inclined towards just going with pajamas. especially with the weather changing, it may get too warm for a sleepsack (the one you buy to replace the woombie) and you wouldn't get much use out of the sleepsack.

we live in the dc area and with the summer weather already creeping in and LO's nursery being a little on the warm side, we have him just sleeping in a onesie. we had used a woombie, then a sleepsack and onesie, then long footed pj's, and now onesie, but the layers and pj's were during the winter.

LO has slept in a Woombie at night since she was a couple of days old. Well, she's approaching the weight limit and I'm pretty sure she's too long for it but she's dealt with it. So we need to make a change. It's also a good time because it's starting to stay warmer inside, even with the air on.

Should we get her a different sleep sack and just put her in a onesie? Or remove the Woombie altogether and just have her sleep in her pajamas? DH likes the pajama idea because he thinks it'll be better whenever she starts to use an actual blanket. I kind of agree but I think what's freaking me out is that she might not sleep well for a few days when the Woombie is gone.
