@AprilFool: well we can always use our sidecarred crib for cosleeping instead so that's less of a concern. For me it being taller is good because it could help keep my son from messing with the baby if I need to step away for a moment

I had one like the second one and it was annoying because it was taller than my bed so I had to get up to check on her.

@SugarplumsMom: it's also taller and would be harder for my son to get to and it rocks unlike the clearvue. Both definitely have pluses that's why it's so hard to choose.

I know it's not as practical, but I like the look of the 2nd one! The incline function is also a plus!

@bunnylove08: thank you! Thank you!

And thanks to all who voted. So far seems like arms reach is favored.

I like that the first one turns into an arms reach.

We just used a rock and play. My sister had a similar bassinet, i feel you would not get much use out of it since it would be height restricting.

I am trying to decide between these two bassinets.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008C2YKWC/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_6?colid=FUA4ODVN3FZP&coliid=I3LYQCJ7U001CI

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005083IYM/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_4?colid=FUA4ODVN3FZP&coliid=I3TFS16CVK4C8L

The clearvue is not as tall so I worry it might be easier for mr son to get to the baby but I like that its mesh so no worrying about suffocation and it turns into and arms reach if I want to side car it to the bed. The other one is great because its a bit harder for my son to get I baby, it has an incline which is great for potential reflux and its just so lovely. We need something small for a small space living arrangement, mobile and tall or enclosed enough to keep my son away or at least make it a challenge for him.

Thank you so much! I'm 35 weeks and need to get on ordering this!
