For sleep, I found Weissbluth's book very poorly written and organized but very informative overall. I still use it from time to time, and my kid is 2. It's the one sleep book I haven't given away. There was always a wonder week approaching and I just felt like I was living in this state of anticipation. Quick read and was the cornerstone of how we approached the first 3 months. I don't know that it would be very useful at 12 weeks though.
