So that whole day we were sort of 'I think it was positive but we'll test tomorrow to make sure', so no cute giving on onesies. The next day I took a test and got a real, definitely there line and I just went into the bedroom and asked if he was really ready to be a dad. I was scared to death a week later when I sat in the bathroom with a CBE Digi (he was offshore at work), and as terrified as I was, I still kind of knew it would still be positive, so I videoed with my iphone and when it popped up pregnant, I started bawling my face off and held it up to the phone and said a little something to DH. I put it in a place where I wouldn't see it all the time, so it wasn't taunting me when I got BFNs and I never really went and looked at it. It took us nearly a year to get pregnant, which was difficult emotionally, but I didn't have a problem with having that one hidden baby item in the house. I really liked having something to give to DH that morning besides just shoving a pee stick in his face. I put it in a box with a bow on top and woke him up with it... He was groggy and kind of confused, but then I was able to show him the test. I got it on Etsy and it was SOOOO cute! Well, the womp womp part is that it took at least 6 or 7 months after getting that onesie before I got a sticky bfp, and by that time I had had an emotional breakdown about not being able to get/stay pregnant and ended up pulling out the onesie and showing it to him and bawling my face off about how I was so scared that I'd never get to use it, and how it drove me crazy knowing it was in the top of the closet every month when I had my BFN-Fest.</p> <p>BUT when we did get sticky Harper, and after we knew she was healthy and had a sweet little heartbeat, DH asked to see that onesie again and I got to pull it out and he fawned all over it. He thought it was an awesome idea and he really loved it, and still references that she's going to watch Game Day with Daddy every Saturday.
