@marionberry: Yes, but since his counts in that area weren't *that* bad, it was mentioned in more of a "let's do this just to cover every possible base" sort of way.

@alie: Did they suggest another SA to see if the meds had worked?
@spaniellove: That's crappy that they won't do anything about it until you get your tests done. That's like us, but opposite. My OB won't do anything for me until DH gets all of his stuff figured out. It's frustrating. I'm pretty sure I may be going back to my regular doctor (just a family practice physician) to work through the rest of this fertility stuff. He may not be a specialist but at least he's much better to work with.

There were some in DH's too...I'm annoyed that the nurse mentioned it on the phone but no one will do anything about it until after I finish my tests and the RE gets around to meeting with us.

This was mentioned in my husband's SA too... they didn't say there were a lot, just that there were "some" and that it was enough to warrant giving some antibiotics a try. He's done with the Rx now, but only time will tell if it made any difference! The antibiotics were only $6, so even if it doesn't help, it certainly can't hurt.

So DH's SA came back and they say everything is great other than the fact that he has a lot of white blood cells in his sample. They think it could be an infection so they've given him some antibiotics. Has anyone else gone through this with their husband? And if so, what was the result?
