It was wildly popular</p> <p>Something I got my sister's high school aged kids - a 10 foot long iphone charging cable. I lent one to my sister when she was leaving my house with a dead phone and forgot her cable, and her kids ended up fighting over it until she got it back to me. Growing up, I was always under the impression that white elephant gifts were supposed to be funny but I know everyone thinks that way. We didn't really set a precedent for whether or not these will be silly or practical gifts. The age group is 7th to 12th grade and the spending cap is $10. What would you do, go practical or silly? What would you get? </p>
