Worst case scenario, lo starts spiking a high fever in the middle of the night, you call. Maybe dried milk that ran down his face if he was laying down with a bottle? Or spit up he rolled in? Regardless, wouldn't be something I'd give a second thought to or call the Ped over. I don't think it's ear wax, different consistency. I think it's probably milk. It's just never happened before. But he's never been at daycare before either, so I'm guessing he spit up and they just didn't get it all? I wouldn't be too worried. We just saw that my 4 mo son has a ton of white gunk in one ear (originally about double what's in the picture). It's all dry and flaky and crumbles as I swipe my finger. He's acting normally, eating normally, no fever, no ear pulling, no recent illness.</p> <p>We did recently start going to daycare, where he was today. They didn't say anything about it but maybe spit up or milk?</p> <p>Call ped tonight? Wait and call ped in the morning? Ask daycare in the morning?
