I'm 28 and have had more scattered grays/whites appearing at the crown of my head in the last few years (since I got married, lol). Sometimes I pluck them, but mostly I don't care. I figure they're less obvious when they're the same length as the rest of my hair. When I pluck them, they stand up straight as they grow back in!

My 25 year old husband has a bunch of white hairs in his dark chocolate mane. It's actually rather pretty. I also knew a woman who had the most gorgeous waist-length hair I've seen - and it was a silvery gray. So I'd just let nature take it's course, personally.

I've had white hairs since college. I have really dark dark brown/black hair naturally and have dyed it on/off since high school. But, even through dye jobs, some white hairs stay white. I just deal with it and try not to notice since it's covered in the crown of my head by other hairs... I have too many to pluck, but I'd go that route if I didn't have ver many of them.

I dye my hair. I have since I was about 15. I got the dark black hair on my mom's side and they went white (not gray) super early. I'm 31 now and color it every 5-7 weeks. Right now, my roots are so bad one if my husband's friends stopped talkig to me in mid sentence because he was shocked by my white at the top of my head. I'd say I'm about 90% white now.

I started finding my first few grays when I was 19. For now, I can get away with just plucking them out when I find them though.

I don't do anything about them yet but I think I'll have the same problem after the baby is born. I will probably start dyeing soon but right now I pretend they mix in well wih my old highlights I'm growing out. :-)

i pluck. i don't have enough where i have to worry about coloring yet. but i know it's coming soon! i also, have never colored my hair and i'm really reluctant to do so. i don't want to spend the money - what a waste! but i will when i have to. but now that i'm pregnant, seems like i have less white hairs - weird.

Ugh, I wish I didn’t have this problem. I started finding grey hairs around 26 I think – then it was just a few right at where I part my hair so I just plucked them. Now at 30, if I plucked them, I’d be half bald! I dye my hair. Used to get it done professionally which is fun, but it got to be expensive. Now I do it myself. Costs about 10 bucks at most and it takes about an hour in total from opening the box to shower at the end and drying and styling my hair, and I do it every 6 weeks or so. So, that’s not a terrible amount of upkeep. If you pick a color very close to your natural color, the upkeep isn’t so bad as the root issue isn’t as stark as dying your hair a color that’s way off from your natural color.

I have this issue too! I haven't made the decision to dye because it WILL become a lot of upkeep. Currently, I'll pluck the ones that are visible (which aren't too many) but leave the hidden ones. It has cut down on various hairstyles though....

I started going gray right after I graduated college at age 22. It was pretty manageable until recently (30 now), there are enough now where you can see it as my roots grow in between highlight appointments.

I dye my hair. I think I was about 23 when I got my first grey hair. I have dark hair and my "greys" are more like GHOST WHITE! I dont have a lot, but on dark hair they stick out BAD! So I dye my hair!

No white hairs, but once in a while I'll make DH dig around my hair to look for strays. HAHA. If he finds one I make him yank it out.
My grandparents on both sides and my parents still have dark, full heads of hair, so hoping for the same.

I don't think you can reverse it.. but I think stress causes white hairs to sprout, so try not to stress!

Do you have white/gray hairs? What do you do? I've never dyed my hair before and don't want to start because it's a lot of upkeep. I've lost a lot of hair post-partum and had a few stray white hairs before baby, but now some of new baby hairs are growing in pure white! I have always plucked my white hairs but now I'm getting paranoid that there are too many and will make my already thinning hair look worse. Do you pluck or dye white hair? Is there anything you can do to reverse it? Take Vitamin E or melatonin?
