My BIL was super suspicious because I wasn't drinking, and my SIL kept bringing it up, but not directly asking. We also had friends ask because I didn't have a glass of sangria when we went out to eat at a restaurant that is famous for its sangria, but I lied to them, too. We started TTC right away but didn't want to tell anyone, so I would just say "I dunno" and it would get awkward and they wouldn't ask again. haha. Despite EVERYONE demanding to know when we would start having kids as soon as we got married, somehow many of these people were SHOCKED when I got pregnant a few months in. I don't understand people. I don't think there's anything wrong with it because like a PP said if people are rude enough to as you this, it's okay to be rude right back and lie. Plus, if heavin forbid you have a miscarriage after they ask, then at least you don't have to go back and explain to everyone who asked that you were pregnant, but now you're not. All of my family pretty much had me figured out at 5 weeks during Christmas when I didn't drink, wanted lots of water, and had to go to the bathroom quite a bit. Both my aunt and brother pretty much knew then. We just told them officially tonight at 9w3d. Then I saw him at a health fair when I was preggo again, the day before my 12 week apt. I had gained a lot of weight and he asked if I was pregnant. I said no, I didn't want to jinx anything! Then I had an apt with him a week later and had to tell him I still couldn't get xrays because I was pregnant.
