BUT, I don't think white furniture always works as well for a big boy room, so if you are buying nicer stuff that you hope to grow with the baby through middle school or something, I think wood works better. So I think it depends how much you are buying and how long you want it to last. </p> <p>We were going to do dark wood (since we generally prefer that for furniture anyway) but then my mom offered us a medium toned wood dresser, so we found a crib that matched that. The sheets and curtains are aqua and accents are orange and lime green. I think dark furniture can look really formal and make a small room even smaller so it doesn't work for every house. </p>
