I really like how clean the white looks against the furniture (or at least until crayons get involved! Then I break out the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!). Almost white in appearance unless you look at the molding, which is actually white. Then we pick one wall in the bedrooms and paint a bright pop of color on the one wall. Our walls are a little more of a beige/gray color with pure white trim, but the effect is similar. I'm working on my daughter's room now, and using Scandinavian -style kids' decor as inspiration.
