(I just had it last week.) The doctor has a rapid strip test for strep that can detect it in just a few minutes... sounds worth testing for, or just bringing her in for a quick visit in general! I always had the white splotches on my tonsils. Now, when I get a sore throat, that's the first thing I look for. She said her throat didn't hurt and has not had a fever. Should I be concerned at all? She hasn't really been coughy. Probably a virus? Any reason to see the pediatrician? </p>
