It does work great though, and you won't use it for that long. So; good luck! There's nothing that you "snap" the bassinet into, you just place it on top of the support dowels, and the plastic hoops keep it from sliding off the side. Does it look a little cheap, because of the plastic--yes. But it is inexpensive, lol, and for something that will get a few months of use, tops, that was ok with me. I will also say that it looks better in the white--the dark wood and plastic combo looks cheaper to me, because the plastic and wood contrast. Or like the wood board under the bassinet needed to be removed to make it work? I can't remember...I am checking with Hilsy to see if there are any drastic measures that need to happen to make it fit properly since we both have the 2012 UBV. If she says it's no biggie, then I am going to order the JJ stand! I just got nervous about having to adjust the bassinet one way for the stand, and then adjust it back to go in the stroller. Just make sure you're ok with that before you order. You can see it in person at BBB. I think you could also wrap the hoop to try to hide it. I don't know why they don't make the hoop different colors! But depending on your bassinet color, sometimes the contrast draws attention to it. I have a pic of the white version that has the same plastic hoop color just to show you what I mean.
