White is a little more modern and cherry is more traditional. This is the only pic I can find on my phone but you can see how great the green color looks with the white of the window/frame. We ended up going with a light wood to match a dresser we already have.</p> <p>We painted our kitchen a light green a few years ago &amp; it looked so vibrant with our dark brown cabinets. We painted them white this summer &amp; now the walls look soooo washed out. We plan on painting the room a light green and I think the white will look really nice with it! I think DH really wants the furniture to be cherry wood. A's furniture is black and she has gray walls, so white would be very opposite of what we are used to. </p> <p>What color furniture is in your LO's nursery?
