<description>&#60;p&#62;I have belonged to one gym or another pretty consistently for about 7 years-- but I don't consistently go. I just rejoined my old gym, with more expensive but all women, which makes a big difference for me. Sorry, but guys smell bad at the gym! (Sorry Mr. Bee). I just feel more comfortable, and it's catered to the things that make going to the gym more pleasant for women-- more fun classes, full size towels for the shower, it's always clean and all the cardio machines have TVs, some with on demand!&#60;br /&#62;
I've gained weight recently and really want to get into good shape before I get pregnant, to make the pregnancy a little easier, prepare myself for labor, make getting back in shape after easier. Plus, I want to take bump pictures and right now, i feel like I already look pregnant, so week 4 wouldn't be so much fun at all :(  It's just hard to motivate myself to get there.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I was a huge gym rat throughout college (I went daily and lost a lot of weight and got in great shape). I kept it up after college for awhile, and then got really into yoga and started going to a hot yoga studio most days, and supplementing with gym sessions occasionally. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I still have my gym membership, but since I've been pregnant I've just been enjoying some light activity (walking, swimming, etc.) and I haven't been to the gym too many times. I'm actually hoping to go tonight to do a little weight training! I'd like to get some more strength back before labor/delivery.

<description>&#60;p&#62;There is no reason you can't work out normally in the TWW. In fact, if you're needing to lose some weight and are trying to get healthy, the working out as much as you can is only helping you.&#60;br /&#62;
I'm 34 weeks pregnant, and other than reducing my cardio AFTER I found out I was pregnant to a slower pace (my doctor said I should be able to carry on a conversation while doing cardio) and lowering the weight on the weights I lift, I've worked out consistently the whole time. Obviously, there are things that are big no-nos while pregnant (hot yoga is one, boooo) but all the things you're currently doing at the gym are all GREAT for you! Keep it up, and definitely keep at it once you do get your BFP!

It's lots of fun, the instructor stands out of the water so you can see what you're doing, and they change the moves up a little bit from normal zumba to use the water. There's a lot of pushing the water around, etc. It's a good work out, and still a lot of fun!

If you are going 4x a week, you'll see results soon, and I bet that will make you stay on track...That's what motivated me to stick with the whole gym thing back in the day when I first joined one.  I went 3-4x a week in college and I saw results (in my arms I remember!) within about a month, and I was like, &#34;Oh!  I guess I'll keep up with this!&#34;  That was over 10 years ago, and the gym has been a regular part of my life ever since.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have managed to keep up with it while pregnant, at least in the second trimester (I had some minor complications in the first tri), and it makes me feel like I have some control over my body and/or how I look and feel pregnant.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;FWIW, I think you're fine to work out in your TWW:)  I always wondered the same thing and would take it down a few notches in the TWW, but after 6 or 7 cycles of giving up my life for 2 weeks, I said &#34;screw it&#34; and I did hot yoga, etc, in the 2ww, and it was fine:)

&#60;p&#62;I do, I do! I have a love/hate relationship with working out lol!! I love it once I'm done working out - but the process is so hard. I know it will get easier though and I hope I come to love it more. I am obsessed with the idea of the body I have in my mind and I will do anything to get it and that overpowers any dislike of working out!! I hate seeing myself in pictures at the weight I am, and that drive really gets me going!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I actually just got back from a zumba class - this teacher was HARDCORE. It was the hardest workout I've ever had. It was insane.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I am! It is a small gym associated with a church. I usually go at least 4 nights a week after work. Some nights I do classes, other just weights or cardio, or weight/cardio mix. I am 6 weeks and I am still going. Tonight I got a little nauseous when I was lifting weights so I did the elliptical and I felt fine doing that. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;My doctor told me whatever you were doing exercise wise before you got pregnant that this point I am fine to keep doing them. So it is a good thing that you are starting now before you get pregnant. &#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;I belong to a gym and miss it terribly right now!  I joined about 2 1/2 years ago and went consistently the entire time.  For the first time ever in my life, I've stuck with it!  I take classes and there is a great group of women I am friendly with that all go in the morning.  I go before work, which was key for my consistency and while it was hard adjusting to at first, it has made a HUGE difference in my health and energy.  I continued with the gym until late into my second trimester.  I am eagerly awaiting the green light to go back!

<description>&#60;p&#62;I have a membership, but haven't been able to exercise since 8 weeks, UGH! I am hating my body and all my muscle turned to fat.  I can't WAIT to go back.  I was working out pretty intensely 5-6 days a week until one day I was on the treadmill and couldn't even crank out an easy 3 miles...I should have known then I was pregnant! Anyway, I track all my workouts with the date/what I did/ weight to hold myself accountable and it helps to look back at see how far I've come.

<description>&#60;p&#62;After YEARS of being a complete sloth, I joined a gym last week!! I've gained a lot of weight these last few months (last year lost 15 lbs on Weight Watchers, and already gained most of it back). And now that we are TTC, I'm terrified that when I DO get preggers, I will blow up and be huge. I have a tendency to gain weight easily. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So last week I joined LA Fitness, and so far have been there 4 times in the last 5 days! Luckily it's only 5 minutes away. I know this is just a temporary spurt where I'm motivated to go so often, but I'm really liking the facilities so far. My plan is to never do the same thing 2 days in a row, so one day do treadmill and upper body, maybe elliptical and lower body the next day, and then a zumba or kickboxing class after that, etc, etc. My only regret is that I didn't join earlier!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;One thing I am slightly concerned about is that I am currently in the TWW period, so I hope that me working out so intensely is ok... (any thoughts on that?)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Who else belongs to a gym and how often do you go? How do you stay motivated?
