I gave one half to my bridesmaid who was engaged to be married the following year. And I tossed the other half, and coincidentally, it was caught by my bridesmaid's younger sister! As for the garter toss, DH attached a $50 bill to the garter to "entice" the guys to participate. It worked! </p> <p>At the time of our wedding, most of our friends were still single so we had plenty of participants.
