But last night I was really, really sore I think from all the bending that comes with cleaning the bathroom, so I told him I'm done with it. It's frustrating because i'm home without him a lot, and when he is home, there are other things I need him to do that I can't (or won't) like hanging shelves. I generally use baking soda and vinegar to scrub the tub (and buff my arms in the process...it takes elbow grease to do it this way!). Didn't take much scrubbing at all! You, SO, cleaning lady? </p> <p>We had a monthly cleaning lady in our old apartment. I would wipe down the sink and toilet in between, sometimes, but really I just let her take care of everything. Since we moved and we are trying to be cost conscious, we haven't set up a new cleaning service. DH *swore* he would clean the bathrooms, since I HATE it, plus I'm pregnant so concerned about the chemicals AND it's getting pretty damn hard to bend over. No surprise, he has not once cleaned them and I bought some green cleaning products and try to do it myself. I think we need to get a cleaning lady in once in a while again, though. </p> <p>So who cleans your bathrooms? And is there some way to clean a bathtub that isn't tortuous that I'm missing?? </p>
