I didn't do an official announcement on FB either because I didn't want any friends or family to find out there. I just stopped being secretive about it on FB around 20 weeks, well after I knew everyone else knew.</p> <p>But I was PISSED when I found out my in-laws posted on FB about my baby being born. I didn't want people to find out that way. Hopefully your family isn't like that and won't post stuff on FB when you tell them. That was also my fear with telling family. Plus I could talk about it on Hellobee. Having someone and somewhere to talk about my pregnancy and hopes and fears made it a LOT easier to keep it to myself when around other people. The hardest thing is probably if you normally drink and then don't. We don't see our parents all that often, so it was okay. We did see both Hubs' parents when we were pregnant and not telling anyone. Hubs' mom tried to pressure me into having babies, so that made it easy NOT to tell her, because I was feeling annoyed, haha. And Hubs' dad and step-mom probably guessed I was pregnant because I wasn't drinking and I usually have a glass of wine at their place. But they didn't ask and I just didn't tell. Plus, I was more scared of telling them and then having a miscarriage, so that fear kind of fueled me and kept me from spilling the beans. PLUS I really wanted to tell them by giving them a picture of the 12-week ultrasound, so having something to look forward to helped! </p>
