Sometimes I ask my mom, but I've noticed that she has a tendency to label things as if I stayed home instead of sending DS to daycare, they wouldn't be problems. I only have two mom friends. They're the best, but sometimes we're all too busy to talk, or I can't talk on them one on one because we're on a play date and the kids are distracting us. DH is unfortunately usually the cause of my parenting dilemmas. I also ask my mom friends sometimes, but we all have pretty different kids and parenting styles so a lot of the time their advice doesn't really work for me. I think I am turning to the boards less and less as the kids get older though, as our parenting issues these days seem more unique than our earlier parenting issues (like getting the kids to nap, or figuring out why they're throwing tantrums, etc.). Who do you turn to for advice with your parenting dilemmas?
