There hasn't been a night time wakeup in months. If there was one, DH would do it because waking up in the middle of the night is bad for my migraines.

I do all the weekday wake ups because DH is already at work. The weekends we both usually do it together.

I do it all right now since we're still relying on nursing to sleep and nursing for comfort in the mornings. :) My LO is 13 months.

DH gets LO up in the morning. If LO wakes earlier than 6am then DH also handles that nightwaking if LO is crying...only because he can go back to sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow whereas I would be wiiiide awake.

DH usually puts DD to bed and I handle any wakings during the night. We both want to wake her in the morning so it's whoever can get to her room first. But now that we finished sleep training, I think I'll be taking over waking her up (yes!!) .

I do the night wakingd for both kids until 3 am, then DH takes over. If both kids get up at the same time, DH takes DD and I take DS. DH also gets DD ready most morning, and I get DS ready. Divide and conquer!

I do, unless it is the night before my one work day a week (but I do give him a little formula at bedtime on those nights, so it helps him sleep longer!). Plus I'm more of a night owl and I have the boobs, so it is easier if I take care of it even on weekends when my husband doesn't work.

The 3 days I work, DH handles the nighttime & morning wakeups. Since I'm nursing, I still have to wake up, but it's nice to stay in bed and have him bring her to me :) When I switch over to being a SAHM at the end of this month, I'll probably handle the majority of wakeups.

Hubs is a night owl and I'm an early bird. So once we get to a point where I have a stash of pumped milk our plan is to do something like he takes any wake ups before 3am and I take any wake ups after that.

I do all the night time wake ups with #2 (since #1 sleeps through) and wake ups with both during the week days. However, on the weekends my husband will do the wake ups for #1 so I can sleep in for another 30mins - 1 hour. Just depends on when #2 needs to eat again. But most times I wake up the same time as my husband on the weekends. Hopefully one of these days there will be no more night wake ups? I'm having trouble transitioning #2 into his sleep sack. He likes to be swaddled a little more than his older brother did at this age (4 months). He can't fit into his swaddle anymore but I'm still using the arm part (miracle blanket). Without the swaddle he has a hard time falling asleep unless he's really tired.

I do it all. LO now screams and cries if anyone but me tries to put her back to bed. Since it only takes me 5 minutes (vs 20 minutes of screaming with DH) i dont bother waking him up anymore.

I think i am starting a bad pattern though!

@Rubies: you're going back to work?!?!?

We takes turns. For the most part I do the one night waking because I feed him, but sometimes DH will go get him for me and bring him to our bed so I can feed him.

DS wakes up around 7am so sometimes DH gets up with him so I can get another 1-2 hours of sleep. Sometimes I get up with him so DH can get some sleep.

It's a tradeoff.

I generally wakeup with Charlie, and Bee wakes up with Olive.

If Charlie is waking up at 4 am, then the arrangement is a painful one. But if Olive wakes up a lot at night, then the arrangement seems like a pretty good bargain! The kids trade off tormenting us, so I think at this point we're both equally tired.
