I think it can be more emotionally exhausting having someone so pessimistic. DH isn't pessimistic all the time and there are times when the roles are reversed and I'm more pessimistic. I'm not even sure what we both are. I think we're both in between. I like to always have a back-up plan for the worst case scenario, whereas DH is just normally conservative. But our outlook is generally the same. My main gripe is more about reactions. Swedes are generally stoic.
