This is the main reason why we ended up bedsharing - not very long after I had her, I literally could stay awake for maybe 45 seconds after she latched before I fell asleep. After a few days of that, it made more sense to do it deliberately and safely! So no, you're def not alone. This lazy mama never didn't fall asleep. Also, babycakes ate all the time - like would be latched for hours and hours every night.

@MamaBehr: when she was a newborn I would nurse her, lay her back in her bassinet & would still fall asleep sitting up. I'd wake up an hour later forgetting that I laid her down & freaking out thinking I had dropped her on the floor. I just do not function well without sleep lol

OH yes!!! I am still exhausted from when my daughter was born (4 years ago in March) and now with baby #3 I fall asleep so easily. When we got home from the hospital I wouldn't even know I had fallen asleep until I woke up 3 hours later and the time had changed!

**I'm not sure where this goes**

DD pretty much has an even number of nights where she STTN & nights where she wakes up 2 or 3 times. I have no idea what makes the difference for her but that's a different post. She got up at midnight last night & I nursed her & I fell asleep from midnight to 4am with her still latched on & me sitting straight up! This happens super often, especially she's started STTN more frequently. I just can't stay awake! Anyone else?
