I have one. But I also got the attachment that converts it into an ergo essentially because it attaches to the hip hugger and it has straps to put over your shoulders and it encloses your child so if they fall asleep or you're out and about a lot, its easier to be hands free. It is more comfortable for both you and your kid especially if they're toddlers. I think for babies, it makes more sense to get a non-structured carrier like an ergo, but it's been great with my toddler. When she was 10+ months - about 15 months, I let her sit facing out. She loved it.

@erwoo: That's ok, LO started walking yesterday so I'll probably wait a little while to see what kind of a walker she turns out to be. Let me know how you like it.

@Corduroy: Ugh, sorry I didn't see your message until now. It was on babysteals.com's memorial day blowout for $34. Half the price. My guess is that it is over. :(

I've seen some people with them. I considered getting one because my 15 month old doesn't walk yet. She loves being carried but wants down all the time to smell a flower or touch something.

Is the deal still available?

I just impulsively ordered a Baby Nari hip hugger b/c it was such a good price. Plus, I've always wanted one but couldn't justify the cost for something we haven't had the need for the last 5 years. I think my youngest would use it more b/c he likes to be carried more. Do you like yours? Pros and cons?
