And even those with IF have had success twice! That's what hard for me. I'm sure at my 23 months, that my responses to IF are different from someone who had had IF for 3, 5 or 7 years. I guess it's all realtive. I felt more senior when I had IF at 18 months versus someone who is at 12 months. I think it can be hard for me to connect with people who TTC for less than 6 months. I just switched doctors because I had to. I don't love my new one, but she is the first doctor I've had that picked up on my thyroid issue, so it's probably a good thing! 4 years is a very long time :( One of my best friends just got pregnant after 4.5 years with her first IVF cycle (she got her beta drawn on Monday). We will hit the 3 year mark in August. We are in the middle of our first IVF cycle right now. Our first visit to the RE was in May 2012 (I had already been diagnosed with PCOS). We have gone through 3 failed IUIs and really are crossing our fingers for IVF. As for actually cycles of TTC, actively trying and having a TWW, I'm on cycle 23.</p> <p>So I'm not sure, if I'm in the 3 year plus group. Am I? Do I count when I first started TTC or active TWW cycles. I kinda feel like I belong because I've been waiting almost 3 years. I was off BCP for a full year before starting TTC.</p> <p>I do think telling people I started TTC in 11/2011 versus being on cycle 23, can give a different response.
