DH's mom doesn't cook (she does have a few 'specialties' that she makes every once in a while). My FIL does all the cooking, and is very good at it. That's my dad's "job". My mom actually cooks, MIL does not. I would actually cook dinner there when DH and I were dating because MIL never cooked dinner for herself, DH or FIL. EVERRR. She cooks 3 things. Spaghetti, Lasagna, and rice. I will admit, I use her spaghetti recipe because it's so good, but since my mom has a ton more variety and excellent cooking, she wins hands down. My MIL is good too, but it is much different than what I am used to... They're also vegetarian and I hate beans and lentils and stuff so I have a hard time when we go over there for dinner.
