Wagon Sr. is really passionate about his work (and his studying to gain degrees to help him in his field) and we're hoping some day he can obtain a PhD in his field and teach in grad school. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/who-is-more-into-their-jobcareeryou-or-your-so#post-477870 Thu, 03 Jan 2013 12:19:52 +0000 Lozza 477870@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>When we moved, I took a job in a slightly different area of my field, and I don't love it the way that I used to... the jobs that I had for my first 5 or so years out of college were really kind of life-consuming and life-defining in a good way, and it was awesome... during that time DH was a grad student, and while he was clearly into his field, he got pretty overwhelmed trying to finish up his dissertation and think about a career in academia. He ended up not going into academia, and instead works for the DoD and he LOVES it and is totally thriving and getting great recognition and it's generally wonderful and he'll be there for the rest of his career.
