But now they told us they're keeping the kids in primary longer... which is all to say, I thought DS had started Kindergarten at the beginning of this school year, but it turns out it's next year? So confusing. We don't like our district though so we applied open enrollment to our neighboring district and are also considering catholic school. Open enrollment priority ends 1/31 and we find out in March. We have to register her at our base school and then can choose options (like magnet schools and calendar options) from there. </p> <p>Are you registering your child for K this year?
