My grandma is also reallllly good. One day I stopped over and she asked if she should put a pizza in for lunch, so I said sure assuming she had a frozen pizza. She just whipped one up from scratch, crust and all while we chatted! So good. I feel like there are some people who are bad cooks, but for the most part if you can read, you can follow a recipe, and it is just a matter of whether the recipe is good or not.
