If he had to make something it would be eggs, but usually if for some reason my mom couldn't cook we'd have take out. My mom's an awesome cook though. Dad's tended to be... scary. To give you an idea, he once took unlabeled snapping turtle stew to a potluck. If that's how he treated acquaintances, think of what he did with his own kids.
