We used it for a while and then redecorated and it went into the basement, where it's been for at least 5 years. We offered it back to my parents when they moved and they declined. Recently we decided to get rid of it, offered it to my parents again (still no), and so sold it on kijiji for $200. Who gets the money? Part of me feels like I should give it to them, but the bigger part feels like they gave it to us, we stored it, we dealt with the hassle of dealing with kijiji, we keep it. We gave them a couch a few years ago and if they didn't want it anymore and sold it I wouldn't expect the money. </p>
