They're really flexible and great about letting him go if he needs to.</p> <p>My work was never accommodating at all. Previously it was always me because DH had no flexibility and I worked in a hospital where someone could usually cover. Now I'm part time and home more. If it were to happen on one of my work days then DH would have to because I work in an outpatient setting where I have patients scheduled and have to be on site for emergencies. We're about equal in terms of our unavailability and we commute together. So we just always pray that one of us doesn't have a client meeting if one of the kids is sick.
