Like time outs would never ever fly in our house because my LO is the type that escalates. A lot of books say, try this and when your toddler calms down, then say this. But seriously? My LO doesn't calm down 2 minutes later. A full blown tantrum can last 10-15 minutes and trying to do a time out? You've gotta be kidding me. Honestly, those books tend to just make me question myself and get frustrated when what they say should be the right way isn't working.
