My husband, and my 2 dogs (7 and 9 lbs) sleep bed with me. The dogs always wind up cuddled close with their daddy. I caught our 7 pounder cuddling up with daddy last night as if he was a teddy bear. And I caught it on camera! It's precious beyond words.

When we are both feeling well it is DH and I and our 3 cats. When either of us is sick or if we want a really good night sleep we sleep in different rooms. 2 of the 3 cats will sleep with DH and 1 will usually sleep with me.

Me and DH, our Newfoundland dog jumps up at the beginning of the night, but he usually only stays with us for an hour or so. When I work nights and sleep during the day, it is just me, although the dog often snoozes on DH's side for a few hours with me.

Most of the time, it's DH, me and our dog. But sometimes when my DH is really behind in sleep, (he leaves the house at 5 in the morning for work), then he'll sleep on the couch downstairs or in our guest room. LO only sleeps in our bed when he's sick.

Just DH and me. We also slept separately like the Bees when the baby first arrived. It just worked best since DH needed his rest for work the next day and I could tend to our LO in our room.

@mrbee: (Forgive me if this is too personal.) I understand that it's practical, but don't y'all miss the intimacy of sharing a bed? Even just the snuggling and pillow talk.... Do you find other ways to incorporate it or is it just on hold for now?

Depends on the day. Sometimes I'll go to bed alone but wake up next to my husband. Other times he'll be there when I go to bed but gone at some point in the middle of the night. Other times he's gone the whole night. And occasionally he's here when we go to sleep and wake up. Definitely won't be co-sleeping with the baby...too much movement with husband getting called to work for that to be restful for a baby. And we're pretty wild sleepers.

A lot of people sleep alone... or alternatively, have a pet (or two!) and/or a baby co-sleeping!

These days, Mrs. Bee sleeps with Smokey the cat in the nursery, and I sleep in the main bed. Sparky the cat used to sleep with me, but she is no more. :-( It works out that we can both hear our respective bosses (i.e. Charlie and Olive) better this way.

How many mammals sleep in your bed on a regular basis?
